Don't Develop Our State Parks

Take Action!

Save the Manatee Club is very concerned about the proposed changes to our Florida State Parks. Alongside many other conservation groups, we are monitoring this closely as these planned developments, which include hotels, golf courses, and pickleball courts in 9 Florida State Parks, are directly affecting Florida’s ecosystem, which in many cases includes the manatees’ habitat.

There are several ways for the public to take action. If you live in Florida, public meetings will be help by the FDEP, and the meeting locations will be posted on this website.

However, these meetings may have limited capacity. To make sure your voice is heard, we strongly urge you to submit written comments for each Florida State Park that is affected.
